Go for it. If you have the option though, play the DS version, it's the more definitive copy.

Yes, it is the best game ever but play either the DS or SNES versions. Wii has the SNES version on the online store

the game didn't aged THAT well tho - at least not if you have not played it at its time. you'll notice a lot of silliness in it you have to overlook.

Honestly man, that game was so terrible I stopped playing it about half way through, tried picking it back up multiple times and never want to finish....and this is coming from a massive RPG fan..

The battle system is pretty generic, story is boring, characters are boring without any personalities, music is pretty bleh, and Chrono doesn't come off as much as a main character.

Eventually I have to finish it, so I can play Chrono Cross which I never started, but I found Trigger to be boring.

Dragon Ball art style always stops me from playing it. I just look at it and go "I wouldn't enjoy it..."

Yes. I played it for the first time last year and it's in my top 5 favourite games ever. It truly is a timeless masterpiece, don't miss out.

I just played it again recently and it's still great. If you can play a version other than the PS1 version, go for it. But the PS1 version isn't unplayable by any means if that's your only option. The loading was kind of annoying at first, but I got used to it (and this is from someone who originally spent hours and hours on the SNES version).
