for a 5 gig download. What gives? Has anyone had this problem before?

You need double the space of the download so it has space to install.

Free up another gig and you'll be good.

Thats because when you want to download something you must have twice the space needed. For example, if you want to download a 5 gig game you must have 10 gigs free in your ps3.

Think for a sec, as you sit there looking at your install icon of 5 gig......you're then left with 4 gig to install it.
