Ayone else think they're making too many Metal Gear games right now?

Between Rising, Ground Zeroes, and Phantom Pain (we all know it's an MGS game), the franchise is spreading itself too thin right now.

There's 3 games announced... but it does not mean they're all coming out in the same year. For all we know, one of them might be out 3 years from now

I personally think they're only making 2 MG games currently because I think The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are the same game. It would just be too much if it was 3 announced games and only one of them has a release date. Although I love the Metal Gear series so there's always a part of me that thinks there can never be too much Metal Gear

I've posted this somewhere else, but I've come to the conclusion Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are chapter names of Metal Gear Solid 5.

Either that, or they're both Ground Zeroes.

NO.. We are only 4 games into the MGS saga IN 25 YEARS!!!! MGR will be only the second MG game this gen.. MGS5 and MGGZ are years away.

No. Rising isn't a metal gear game. It's a mediocre hack & slash.

Metal Gear (the original MSX game), Metal Gear 2, Twin Sankes, Portable Ops (It counts) and Peace Walker say hi. Not to mention the various rereleases (Substance, Subsistance, MGS3 3D edtion, and HD edition).

rising has been more or less done for a while now, so it isn't like they are making all 3 games at the same time, plus konami is a big company, im sure they can handle it.

The MGS series is one of the series that actually does not feel milked even after numerous entries. No one can say with a straight face that each game was a clone of each other and same as the last entry.
