Western devs dominated this gen, but i still rarely buy a western game, i just don't like the art style, the characters, the music, the imagination etc.., and you can't find ground breaking ideas in western games that will make you interested to keep playing, this is all my opinion of course, thanks to western devs i saved more money this gen, maybe it's better for me.

I don't avoid buying them, but most Western games are just too bland and uninteresting, so my collection is still dominated by Eastern games.

No. But I have bought an Inuit RPG in a while.

I avoid most eastern games like the plaque.

I feel exactly the opposite. Most Eastern games were bland and repetitive, and the ones that weren't (Valkyria Chronicles, The Last Story, etc.) just do not interest me in the slightest.
In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

judging any game before you play it no matter where it from is down right moronic....
Real Hip Hop...I miss the 90's

You seat yourself on a throne surround by a ring of fire that's kept alight 24/7 in an attempt to ward of Japanese media?

Pfft, no. I play a game if it looks fun. Where it came from is irrelevant to me. I DO like the colorful cartoony/anime style you see in a lot of Japanese games, but there's more to games than eyecandy.
