ok something's wrong with my ps3 and I need help

So my brought two games which they are L.A Noire and GTAIV and the problem seems to be the game asks me if I want to download the newest patch for the game I pressed YES but the time to dowload the patch it keeps increasing and the % stays in 0, I can play the game but I can't download the patch.
Wnyone knows what might be wrong with my ps3?

Sounds like internet issue. Restart your router and ps3.
