western PS3 is in danger!! Dynasty Warriors might become Japan only releases!!

I been looking for advice from PS3 gamers.

Sadly, DW sales are decreasing, so nowadays, DW games won't include dubs and get digital only releases due the low disk sales.

I heard Dynasty Warriors 8 might not even come to the west depending on how well DW7 Empires sells.

DW7 E would be my first Empires games in the series (DW7 has outstanding story and roster,
and DW7XL was a meaty expansion pack. but I read that Empires is a massive standalone game that gives much more than the vanilla and XL versions of DW. )

Yeah DW8 is coming, but hardcore DW veterans point out that the DW Empire series is superior.

And I'm starting to see signs of that truth.

Of course it's not the "Skyrim" of Dynasty Warriors games, but the Empires version looks to bring a lot more depth to the gameplay, progression, lifestyles, rewards, atmosphere and overall how DW gaming is experienced.

The CAW (Create of Warrior) system looks to be one of the best character creation systems on PS3 too. :)

Wow Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires is STACKED with content and features.

Any PS3 Dynasty Warriors fans have any input about the Empires editions? Places I asked everyone says the Empires editions are always bigger, better and have features that other types of DW games don't have.

So I'm thinking DW7 Empires looks to be the better PS3 deal than DW8.

The Empires games are my favorite part of the DW series; I just wish they were as deep as the RotK games but with real-time action.

I think the DW series has already hit its peak unless it starts making some worthwhile changes.

I don't about about anything Koei puts out unless it is a Gundam Musou game.

If Warriors Orochi is any indication, there were way too many characters to justify paying that many English voice actors. With no English voice track, Sony doesn't want the game as a physical disc in the US.

Koei's 3rd time saying this & ppl keep falling for it lol. It's a marketing tactic to increase sales.

I was a fan of Dynasty Warriors. Unfortunately, their best days are behind them. They haven't had a worthwhile release since Warriors Orochi. Or DW6E, whichever came last.

Koei's problem is that they always move at a glacial pace when trying to make improvements to their games, and are far too eager to drop aspects completely after experimenting with them in a single title.

As it stands right now, DW isn't worth milking.

Koei needs to realize that all the components of base DW, XL, and Empires need to be consolidated. Also, make wallet-worthy DLC.
