Probably not, because it still suffers from "Lighthearted Kiddy Syndrome", and the appeal is greatly limited because of it. It'll never win enough popularity to earn that title.

lol at the people arguing over console JRPGs. Get a handheld since that is where the market is now. Games like Radiant Historia blow anything away on consoles.

I doubt it because they will have to count Persona 4 Golden, Xenoblade, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Valkyria Chronicles, Resonance of Fate, Digaea, and the Last Story(I'm sure I'm missing some).

Arguable NNK is a last gen game(It was release on the NDS) as well as Persona 4 Golden so I think Xenoblade or Lost Odyssey take the pick.(Xenoblade in my opinion).
