Used games have been gone from PC gaming for a long time

Locking a game to hardware is really not the same as locking a game to your account. What if you PS4 breaks? Tough luck. What if you PC breaks? No worries, you still have all your accounts.

Gamers are so entitled this generation!

Hopefully a joke. There is no entitlement here. Gamers are erring on the side of truth when they say that nixxing used games will not do any good to anyone.

Calling the PC "proof" that no-used is fine if you want to ignore the moonwalking bear.

Except gamers this generation feel more entitled this generation than any other generation. To ignore it is to ignore the moonwalking bear, as you said.

I'm not saying entitlement isn't a thing. Hell, if anything our greedy publishers are justifying it.

But in this instance, entitlement is not a card that can be played.

You can easily sell PC games, people do it on Kijiji and CL all the time, and on Ebay, etc etc.

It's just that many many people have been using Steam and most major PC releases for the last long while have had DRM in them.

Not every one wants to spend over $1000 just to have a gaming PC, that's crazy. I never have and maybe never will like PC gaming.

Oh yeah, no used games does work for PCs... because it's a lot easier to pirate games. You can't easily do that with a modern console. That's one of the things with PCs, companies have to keep their prices and DRM low in order to avoid tempting people into pirating their games. If consoles were easier to play pirated games with, I imagine people wouldn't have a problem with no used games. They would just pirate them instead.

If console gaming is so cheap then why do I have to spend $600~ in order to play Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 3 and Halo 3?

Except it doesn't cost $1000 to build a gaming PC. You can build one for $500 or less that will outperform the PS3 easily and play newer games on decent settings for years.

Lie. Unless you bought secondhand, your case and cpu are half/+ of that $500.
