Don't really care tbh, never buy at Gamestop. I order my games online and they always arrive in the mailbox wrapped in shiny plastic.

I've worked at GameStop and have friends that work(ed) at GameStops. Sometimes those new games get loaned out to employees before street date. It all depends on whether the store is lax or strict.
