The world Ends with you. While there is amnesia it's handled brilliantly and he gets his memory back %25 in the game.

Now you have amnesia. He only gets back some of his memory.
He gets the rest back just before the end of the game.

Yes but it's only a small part missing. And it's uses for some epic plot twists.

I only read your post title, and the game that popped into my mind was Mass effect. THen I scrolled down, and the VERY first post was mass effect.

Any yet you can't get rid of most of them.

You can kill your whole crew in mass effect 2 except the doctor and in mass effect 3 you can kill most of your crew who didn't did'nt did in the suicide mission.

and TC if you dont think a good plot can exist without some or even ALL of those things... then you clearly dont know what a good plot is...

i mean look at full metal alchemist... that was about two ppl who basically committed a sin and wanted to fix and make everything right again... how many shows/games HAVENT done that one? yet FMA was one hell of a ride, full of shocking revelations, plot twists galore and plenty of sad moments.


just because the premises isnt new or overdone doesnt mean the direction the writer take sit in cant be new or mind blowing
