Why do people feel the need to...

Defend crappy reboots like DmC? I just don't get it.
Yes, "there is a thing called an opinion" blah blah blah, but it's really goddamn obvious the game isn't good enough, nobody said it will be the worst game ever, but it won't be better than DMC, DMC 3 or even DMC 4. So why defend it and it's arrogant developer?

I am not a fan of reboots in general. I think it's a lame grab for more money. It also tells me that originality is lacking. We've been seeing it in Hollywood with all the sequels and reboots over the last few years.

If you want to continue a series like DMC, then just continue it. Not EVERY series needs a reboot or an origin story or whatever you want to call it. I guess I'll say it's not ALL bad. I just think in a lot of cases it's unnecessary.

People defend whatever they like. You not liking it doesn't make them wrong or the bad.

Likewise, you liking a game doesn't make it good. And if doesn't make anyone who hates it wrong.

Grow up, kids.

I don't hate DmC, I think it's a bad reboot but I don't "hate" it, I won't cry if it broke sales records for example. All I'm saying is, it's noting special and 99% of the people defending it know it, I'm 20 btw.

Why do people feel the need to spend so much time talking about the things that they don't like?

I am a little backlogged at the moment with games, but the DMC HD Collection is something I want to try. The setting and whatnot seems like it's something right up my alley.

The same reason people defend anything, they found something about it they enjoy and want others to feel the same way.

There's lots of reason to love this one over the others, there's also lots of reasons to hate it.

But the internet isn't going to change opinions, people have already made up their mind about it.

For a 20 year old you sure are arrogant. All I hear from you is, My opinion is right and everyone who doesn't agree knows so too but are in denial. I think you should take the advice of that previous user.
