How many Final Fantasy games did you play until you tried out the original?

1... I played and beat FFIV on Snes back when it first came out and loved it.

My neighbor had FFI on the NES and I played it whenever I had a chance but never did beat it until the playstation re-release.

Final Fantasy on the NES was my first. I was fairly young, but remember it blowing my mind.

I tried it after playing X (my first FF game).

I didn't bother playing FF1, I quit after about an hour. It might have been amazing back when Pong was big on the street, but it's not up to much now.

Although I played FF back on the NES in the late 80's I "grew up" and took a 10 year + break from gaming not playing another Final Fantasy (or hardly any other game) until FFX.
