Sheldon said a PS3 is better then a mountain bike

I really don't understand how or why people find that show funny. For a show that's supposed to be about intelligent people it has really really dumb writing. It's generic and dumbed down comedy. Sorry.. harsh, but true. Take the lame dated laugh track out of that show and I doubt even people that think the show is funny would be able to say it still was. Show like that essentially have to tell people when to laugh.

Proof. A scene without the laugh track..

Now I'm sure somebody will chime in that it's filmed before a live audience but most of the laughter you hear on TV is still canned, and that goes for all sitcoms. They film these shots over and over.. people aren't busting up hysterically at the same thing they've seen 30 times during filming. They juice the laughter during virtually every laugh take to tell people at home something is supposed to be humorous.

They cherry-picked a relatively boring scene to do this with.

Sheldon is also unable to go to town on his girlfriend, who is so desperate she'd probably let him go ass to mouth.

Until he acts like a man, he has no opinion

So apparently sex means more than a doctorate? No wonder our nation is going to crap. Might as well have all the porn stars start designing our rockets and the Jersey Shore crew can start hosting MENSA conventions while the Kardashians develop Valve's Steam box. Your post...nevermind, you've had enough for today.

Haven't watched the show since sometime in Season Two. The "on again, off again" "Will they, wont' they?" bullcrap was never interesting and using it isn't interesting. Has he even changed at all? Have any of them? There's nothing more annoying than to watch a five season spanning show and have none of the characters develop in any way, shape or form.

They have developed, albeit slowly. Howard finally dropped his cheesy one liners and found himself a nice buxom gal to marry. That's just an example...I didn't feel like giving out everybody's bio. That being said, their core traits have remained. Howard is still a momma's boy, Leonard still has trouble adjusting to relationships (even though he has had more sex than the other nerds combined), Raj still has to down a few shots to talk to women and Sheldon is still insufferable.

I'll save you the trouble. Opinions. What you find funny and what others find funny can be 2 completely different types of funny.
For example, plenty of gamers loved to laugh at arrow to the knee jokes. I laugh at top 10 lists that have Skyrim sitting comfortably at number 1. I also happened to laugh when my math teachers would muck up proofs for...well, I won't bore you with the details. You get the point. Occasionally, I may even laugh at a poop joke or a political cartoon. BBT is funny to many, whether you like it or not. If you are trying to prove that it isn't funny, you might be taking this show a little too seriously and you should probably watch and focus on something you enjoy instead. You might just live a happier life that way.

There is a shameful lack of Community on that list.

I tossed up putting it on there but I didn't think the show was as strong as it started out.

I disagree but I respect your opinion. Is it still better than BBT? A resounding YES.

I think Community has gone down hill too. I watched the first two seasons with my brothers and we've never had a show make us laugh that loud or that frequently. Season three got a few chuckles but that was it.

I hate that show. The entire show just "Hey look how nerdy we are." It stops being funny half way though the first episode.

Sheldon owns an XBox360 but not a ps3, though :( That's why he said that.

They also own a PS3, they have shown them using the Move before to play games on it
