They also did this with PSAS (launch price was $35 on Vita). I wonder if they're experimenting with lower prices to see if the increased sales will more than make up for it.

Sly 4 is also a Cross Buy title. If you buy the PS3 version, you'll get the Vita version for free. It was the same with PSABR.

Its more of an end of this gen thing that makes it possible along with the game's development cost allowing it

We have 3 Vitas, so with this pricing I'll buy both the PS3 and the Vita version so everyone can use the Vita version (otherwise limited to just 1 or 2 due to account limits.) Could buy just the vita and get free PS3, but I want it on bluray too.

This is good news, $40 instead of $60.
