because you have to buy every game at 60 dollars and there are never any deals <_<
3000 dollars on games over the course of 5-6 years aint that much kiddo
I spent almost double that adding Neo Geo to my collection around October last year.
3 grand over 6 years isn't exactly a lot of money.
Oops, a quick calc on my spending habits when it comes to games, and I get 3900 per year with an average of 150 per two weeks
If you aren't paying for mortgage then it isn't that much money. You do realize that all this money being spent on games is for entertainment purposes, right? Entertainment is usually 10% (arguably less) of your earnings. I don't even think I spend 300 a year for entertainment. Unless you're making over 20-25 bucks an hour, you're not a very good saver on money.
To add another thing for TC: not everybody has a decent job to be throwing away cash into gaming. I only play what I put the most hours into. When I beat my games, I BEAT THEM so that there isn't anything to do on them anymore. This is so that I'm not paying for no reason. I've got around 7 to 8 games per system on average. The only games that I have more are 7th gen systems. You don't need a plethora of games to be a gamer. Just play them and finish them to get the most bang for your buck.
