Most likely yes thats almost a given. However its to a degree it will, something going to have to change or it may lose steam.

They've never taken the gajillion dollars of profit each CoD turns in, and made any significant advancements to the genre or to the series.

They won't change a thing.

but they have to though, if they dont the graphics will look so bad compared to newer gen games, i dont know if the COD crowd would like that

cod makes millions every year, do you really think they'll let it go?
they will milk it till it dries, and will keep adding and adjusting to keep it fresh.
its a proven tittle and it makes millions so yes it will keep succeeding.

the thing is, every game might look like last of us or better next gen, if COD keeps looking the same, sooner or later people will get tired of it.

Not to the same degree it did this gen.

It'll still sell about 10 million on average. But if they keep to a linear structure like they do, itll get stale. They added diverging paths in Blops 2 which is a good start, but got way too much praise for that when you have other games that are open world and just as cinematic.

Free roam games will reign supreme.

Battlefield will take the other half of the call of duty sales if they expand on an open world shooter concept.

So relatively speaking COD will still succeed easily, but not to the same success as it has this gen. However, they have stuck to the same engine since CoD4 and I'm wondering if they have been perfecting a next gen engine this whole time (doubt it) so its ready for the new systems to blow us all away
