cod makes millions every year, do you really think they'll let it go? they will milk it till it dries, and will keep adding and adjusting to keep it fresh. its a proven tittle and it makes millions so yes it will keep succeeding.
Beyond Two Souls and Last of Us are FANTASTIC looking, and they are on THIS gen.
the thing is, every game might look like last of us or better next gen, if COD keeps looking the same, sooner or later people will get tired of it. --- PSVita no games? http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/620272-playstation-vita/64767381 http://www.atlus.com/res/p4g_faithful_reviews_1.jpg
I doubt the usual suspects will get tired of it, tc this is the west you know there taste. --- Ryoma / Sora / Naruto / Luffy / Ginta Young heroes between the ages of 12-17 make RPG and other video games better then older heroes 18-21 and over.
It'll still sell about 10 million on average. But if they keep to a linear structure like they do, itll get stale. They added diverging paths in Blops 2 which is a good start, but got way too much praise for that when you have other games that are open world and just as cinematic.
Free roam games will reign supreme.
Battlefield will take the other half of the call of duty sales if they expand on an open world shooter concept.
So relatively speaking COD will still succeed easily, but not to the same success as it has this gen. However, they have stuck to the same engine since CoD4 and I'm wondering if they have been perfecting a next gen engine this whole time (doubt it) so its ready for the new systems to blow us all away
