Stick is superior, hands-down. I don't use one because I only play casually but any serious fighting fan knows the stick is the best.

I use both, it just depends on how long I'm going to be playing.

If I just want to jump in for a few matches, I'll use the pad. If I'm going to be around for an hour or so, I'll break out my custom stick.
You are hallucinating. Seek help immediately.

Pad, easier for me to maneuver.
I play a lil bit of everything on a lil bit of everything.
Not changing this until we get a Viewtiful Joe 3 or HD collection of VJ 1&2 (started 8/14/12)

Stick. While it takes time to get good on it, you'll exceed your pad-execution by a huge margin, unless you're REALLY comfortable with it.
It's actually easier to get to good levels of execution with stick then with pad. it's just more strange and uncomfortable, since most play on pad all their life.

It also depends on the game. I can't play tekken with stick for the heck of it. probably too used to a ps pad, since I started with Tekken 1.
I use stick for every other fighter tho.

Whichever the controller option is. I don't want to waste that much money on a stupid stick I'll probably never use anyway.
It's-a me!

I'm better with a controller, but I prefer stick because I find it more comfortable for long periods of that nostalgia

I played on Stick for awhile but my stick broke and I had to buy a new one then my new one broke 6 months later. So now I play pad. Still trying to get used to it.

Pad, but only because I don't have a stick at the moment. I plan on getting one eventually, but I'm concerned with how it will affect my ability to pull off moves the require a bit of dexterity with the stick/d-pad such as Kazuya's EWGF.
