Is Sonic Adventure 2 HD worth it?

I have the Battle version for GameCube but the console is unplayable (broken controller, can't read discs 95% of the time) So I'm considering this, but Journey also looks interesting, and i may get a 20$ card because i don't really have a lot of money and right now I'm saving for Bioshock Infinite.

I personally found it to be very enjoyable. took a little getting used to the ps3 controls for it compared to the Gamecube, it I had a lot of fun with it. Ended up doing an LP of it as well.

I actually enjoyed the Knuckles levels, the music especially. They were fun, and I like that fact that it was free roam style.

Although they are bad, they are the best knuckles levels for any 3D Sonic Game, IMO

No way man. Get Journey. It looks like a nice original game. You already played and enjoyed SA2. I loved it back on the gcn, but playing it recently was terrible. Only a select few Sonic and Shadow levels are actually fun to play.

The shooting levels are straight up abysmal. Literally just mash the shoot button, while having to deal with clunky as controls and a bad camera. The treasure levels can be fun at times, but still aren't too good.
