Around the time the PS3 was new and had no games there was this one demo that I really enjoyed.

It was a shooter, can't remember whether it was 1st or 3rd person.

It was open world with a big map.

There were vehicles.

It was really fun.

I don't know if the game was modern or not. I think it might have been WWII weapons.

The graphics weren't MW3 or BF3 type graphics. It was cartoonish I think.

Only thing I can think of is Warhawk, but the demo for that didn't come along until far later.

Yep, sounds like The Saboteur to me. Although I don't know if it had a demo.

I don't exactly know about the WWII part, but there were tanks and jeeps that multiple people could get it.

The goal has something to do with flags and killing the other team. It isn't like a GTA type game.
