This is stupid a company shouldn't be able to control someone who isn't working for them anymore and he was in a commercial for tiers! This ruling was a joke.

It was primarily because he appeared in a Nintendo ad.

No he was in a add for Bridgestone who were using the Wii as a promotional incentive.

So they got jealous and insecure.

Got it.

Corporate reassurance, nice one Sony, way to teach your sheep.

I guess the butthurt begins at the console.

Pathetic

To SOMETHING. And it is not always 50/50.

Which means a, yes, a WIN.

If you come out of a settlement feeling like you have won thats great. But there is no judgement and therefore no "victory". "Kevin Butler" may feel just as much a "winner" as Sony for not being sued into bankruptcy.

They settled. Why is tc making it seem like they won, Son won the legal fees war as Bridgestone/Kevin Butler didn't see value in continuing to pay the costly legal fees game over such a minimal issue. Thus simpler to just give in to Sony's demands in the short-term cost efficiency perspective.

Which is classic Sony lawyer manuvering whenever they start a lawsuit process.

He appeared in multiple billboards, and even in LittleBigPlanet games in 2012.

But he didn't appear in any ads, and that's probably where most of his money comes from.

So what exactly was he supposed to do? Sit on his ass and wait until Sony decided to use him again? I don't blame him at all for appearing in other ads --- even if they did include the competition's consoles.

Sure. And of course, they felt the need to prevent any further consumer confusion from seeing "Kevin Butler" in other ads.
