Lead male character of Tales of Xillia joins you because he has a beta crush on the lead female. So he stalks her basically 24/7 by joining.

LMAO! Modern Jrpg logic. Friendship! Stalkers! Magic! and Beta males!

Why did you quote me? 0_o

Also, you should play the JRPG's with better, more mature storylines. Such as the ones I listed.

What's more, it's the first time a woman has taken the lead role.

No it isn't. All of the Narikiri Dungeon games have the same dual male / female protagonist setup, and the Radiant Mythology games let you choose the gender of the protagonist (the closest thing they have to a defined protagonist, Kanonno, is also female). - Watch me beat "NES Die Hard" - My backloggery

Me too ^_^, I'm getting this over Ni No Kuni.

you're getting a game that will come out sometime in the summer over a game that comes out this week. What a smart guy you are.

Yeah, he hates the art-style or some such?
I don't get it, but not gonna hold it against him, his prerogative.

I am anticipating NNK a lot more than ToX, but will be buying both.
ToX I've heard things, good and bad, but I'll enjoy it nonetheless.
Ni no Kuni Wizard Edition-
Dragon Quest > Tales of > Final Fantasy, but I enjoy all three. Da Bears!

In terms of story and graphics, Xillia destroys Graces F. Xillia had such a dark and interesting story imo.

In terms of content and battle system, no. Xillia took me 44 hours with most good sidequests in between whereas graces f took me 90 hours. They both have great battle systems, but Xillia's feels sooo slow compared to graces f.

I don't care if the gameplay is a little slower than Graces because honestly, Graces story is so bloody boring I have yet to even finish the game. And I've been playing it for a while too.

That, and Graces is unusually difficult for a ****ing Tales targeted to a younger audience.
