It's pretty upsetting not being able to play my favorite games anymore

You could get a DS/3DS or PSP/PSV and Play for and hour and leave them on sleep mode. That would make the hours add up and you can make progress with your limited time or on the toilet.

It's all downhill from here, tc. Life sucks. Pretty soon it won't matter your hours, your mind and eyes will be too weary to focus, you'll get slower, and everything fun or interesting becomes something to do some other time because you're just too tired. Some other time will never come.

And then? And then you die.

The writing was on the wall with Bioware the minute you could completely void all of your decisions with one choice in KOTOR.

Sounds like me when I started working and going to college. I'm just 21 but I already feel like that doesn't that school eats my money. So should I give up on everything that is not work school then?

I would quit any job if it requires me to work for more than 40 hours a week.

Mandatory overtime is Evil, especially if it happens a lot.

Employees should be the one to decide if they want to work more or not. Rest is one of their few privileges. The problem is that some managers and employers force them to still work.

I think I bought the wrong console this gen.

Well, if you love your job, 60 hours a week is awesome. If you hate your job, even 10 hours a week is too much. I look forward to a future where people can recieve job placement based on a balance of how effective they'll be at it and the level of personal satisfaction they'll feel in that environment. Of course, this is after we have enough robots to do all the work that absolutely nobody wants to do...

This.

Also, I've been actively looking for work for a year and a half now. Not only in areas where I have degrees and certificates for my actual skills, but even places I thought I would've never had to look at again, like fast food places.

This job market is awful, at 28 with certifications in the IT Tech industry, I should not be having this hard of a time finding work, let alone grunt work.

TC, you may just have to be thankful for what you have, save the RPG games in a box, and if you ever run in to a situation of prolonged unemployment, then worry about them.
