I would say Ogre Battle 64

Star Ocean: The Second Story

I'm pretty sure this game was the one that got me hooked on role playing games.

Chrono Cross. It's a really good game, but most people just play Chrono Trigger and never give the 2nd one the time of day.

This is very true. What irks me the most is when people say it's not a direct sequel. It absolutely is a direct sequel, in every way. The events of Chrono Trigger literally created the alternate timelines in Chrono Cross!

Biker Mice from Mars on SNES. There was even a TV show based on it. I don't know how many people knew Biker Mice from Mars and I heard it was remade on PS2 and DS.
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on Xbox and PC. I don't know if the Jedi Knight series are overrated or underrated but I know KOTOR is one of the most overrated Star Wars series.

The game was actually based on the TV show, and came out shortly after the toys started coming out.

Thousand Arms for the PSX.

For me I'd have to agree with:

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (would love to see another entry to the series)
Deadly Premonition
Ogre Battle 64

And I'll add one I haven't seen on here:

Pokemon Conquest

It's a bit over-simplified in terms of strategy, but it is a pretty SRPG with moderate replay value and a nice mix between characters from Nobunaga's Ambition with Pokemon.

Oh... And also almost all of the Gundam games that came out on PS2, they're the main reason I still own the console.
