This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

Recommend me a game that can be played with only one arm.

Saw gameplay vids for Catherine, didn't really like them all that much tbh. Bayonetta too, just looked like another generic button masher.

You wont be able to play either. Catherine is a too fast paced puzzle to go through with one arm (you can probably manage that with portal tho) and Bayonetta has the most complex combo system ive seen. Not to mention, you cant take offensive so you will be blocking and dodging most of the time to trigger secondary effects or witch time. I think if you assign triangle to L2 and square to L1, you can probably play GoW with one hand, you would be moving arround hitting L1, L1, L2. So... swap Bayo for Kratos and Catherine for Gladys and you are good to go!

Actually I have the same question but on a more serious note. A friend of mind had a stroke a few months ago and lost the use of his left arm. What games can I recommend him?

Final Fantasy XIII/XIII-2 probably. Only issue I could see is with paradigm shifting on the spot in like boss fights. But with the whole autoattack in the command list your basically just only pressing X the entire game.

XCOM since it's turn base RTS

Just about any turn base rpg would probably be playable as well.

Your face is a generic button masher.

By that do you mean that his face is riddled with pimples and buttons, and that he mashes the buttons on his face to try and burst them?

TC, Bayonetta isn't a generic button masher. Anyone who uses this term for a game of this sort, is an absolute scrub. Go ahead and button mash through this game, or even play through with one arm. See what happens on any mode other than Easy Automatic.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is a brilliant and addicting game and it's perfectly playable with only one hand. :)
