Games, RPGs in particular, would be a lot better with rap music
I think people who are getting angry at people for disliking rap aren't being rational. To be fair the most popular rap songs happen to be crap like this...
You would be surprised at how many people don't know the difference. I'm not saying you're wrong. Just trying to explain why rap gets so much hate ever since the 2000.

That's completely untrue. In the 60's Jimi Hendrix, Beetles, etc were all popular. In the 70's great music was popular. Still some of the most popular Rock music is Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, etc. The most popular Pop music is still Micheal Jackson. The most popular Hip Hop music is Jay-Z, Nas, Roots, Common, Lupe Fiasco, etc.
It's all about what's hot now. What the industry feeds you now. Still if you asked about the greatest pop artist of all time I bet a large percentage would be Jackson. If you asked about the greatest rapper people would probably tell you... Lil Wayne (shiver). See the difference?
That would keep me from playing the games.
Everything is better without rap music.

Not sure how valid you consider this site, but they bring up a good point about music. Sure, the 60s/70s music we remember now is good, but there was still some pretty ****y popular music back then.
Besides, my initial point was more of a statement about modern music. If you asked most people who their favorite rock band is, a lot of people will say Nickleback. Electronic? Skrillex. Ask what their favorite metal band is, and you get stuff like Disturbed and Slipknot. Not saying that any of these artists are terrible, just that they're not (in my opinion) the best in their respective genres.

That's a pretty good point. I halfway agree and see where you are coming from. I just have to say that rap gets the worse of it because bad rap is really bad rap. Also the fact that bad rap isn't noted as such, but rather glorified for it's contents. I blame the Atlanta rapper boom after Lil Jon.
TC is awesome at trolling.
I should find something to do.
I can tell already there is a bunch of hypocrites in this topic since im sure a huge majority of the jrpg fanbase watch anime and a lot of anime have rap soundtracks to them, I think so many people in this topic oppose this idea because most rap is generalized with black people so if there was a japanese rapper doing the soundtrack for a rpg I can guarantee 100 percent there would be no uproar because the most of gamefaqs ps3 board are weaboos/racist.
You release your game and it has disc locked content and day 1 dlc I will just buy your game used.

NOFX - Punch Her In the C***
I'll admit it, that song title made me lol pretty loudly.
On topic: Nothing from 2002 or later. However, I'd much rather the game's soundtrack be a mix of techno, hard rock, and maybe some dubstep. If anyone's seen "Dredd" that movie's soundtrack is badass and would easily pump someone up while playing a game.
