Not really, though it's a bit difficult to relate to the character of Connor, and the Desmond story seems like it was an afterthought.
But it is certainly worth playing. There are some control changes like you no longer have to hold 'X' while running (doing so will actually have the effect of Connor missing jumps or jumping when he shouldn't).
We shall rise again to start anew. White FC: 0862-2660-4156 / 3DS FC: 2492-4470-1418 / White 2 FC: 4556-7836-2644
It has an ending that's just as horrible as the first one's(maybe worse) and as said above, Connor is a pretty "meh" character. He seems to go up and down a lot and doesn't really have a defined personality.
Besides that, it's a fun AC game until you get bored of all the things you can do.
I hate seeing sigs with PC specs on them. PSN: tookhster ------ Proud owner of a Wii, PS3, 360, 3DS, Vita, and now a Wii U!
As a fan who first started back when the original was released, gotta say this was a major letdown. Ubisoft did an amazing job advertising it and really sold me on it. Payed $40 for it since it was a best buy deal, and expected more than I got. If your just into story, and don't do side missions, you can finish this game in 10 hours or less (which is what I did). The only redeeming quality was MP, but I'm getting bored of that too. Your call. This game (in my opinion) isn't worth more than $35 to be honest. ACB,AC2,AC3,ACR,AC1 from best to worst in case your wondering (again my opinion).
I agree. I was a huge fan of the series, but AC3 was a huge disappointment. I bought into the hype and preordered it months in advance. I was excited when I got it then it went down hill. I beat it on two sittings. I tried to do the side missions, but felt like they were designed for little kids. I wanted to like it, but it honestly disappointed me so bad I traded in it with all the other games. It totally ruined the series for me. I got Skyrim, Oblivion and Silent Hill Downpour in return and haven't looked back.
