Yup..there's all sorts of immaturity...cursing doesn't even need to be involved.

Seems for some of you gamers, there is never such a thing as crossing the line in entertainment.

U say cussing, profanity, shooting, killing, violence, breaking bones, blood, sex, etc is all fine...
I shouldnt be surprised then to see in the near future sex with children, corpses, killing of parents, etc .. as ''fine'' because thats what life is like huh

You must be fine with all of that if you're playing games that has cursing. We're in a society where violence is more acceptable than either heavy cursing and nudity. So chances are, the games you're playing with so much cursing has a lot of violence, so why are you turning this onto other people when you're playing the same games?

I didn't realize ears didn't develop until children become teenagers.

Mild cursing, like seen in the Batman games, can be seen on regular network television. Don't tell me you'd starve your children from simple entertainment because they'll hear the occasional "damn," "hell," or "piss." Just look at the Simpsons. It's socially acceptable as a show for children to watch, yet it has extreme violence, cursing, alcohol, and talk of sex. If that doesn't work for you, look at Ren and Stimpy.

I love how americans call it cursing, or "cussing" if you use the slang

Are you really cursing someone?

The devs are catering to 12-year-olds who think cussing is cool. And I thought the main demographic of gamers are 30+.

No it's mainly high school students and college students.... basically anyone 14-30.

Oh I see. Well that explains a lot regarding why we keep getting shallow pew pew bang bang games with no substance.

There's no such thing as profanity. They're just words.

if it's a war game, I'm expecting a lot of cursing. If it's an action adventure game, maybe a little bit here or there. If it's GTA, I'm expecting it to be over the top because everything in GTA is over the top.
