Personally, I always thought Vice City was best. Ever since they released 3 and san andreas on PSN, I've been PINING for vice city, proving to me it's by far my favorite. I don't care the price, I'm buying it Tuesday.

Vice City for the soundtrack alone.

Edit: I like Wang Chung in the background as I curb-stomp hookers.

Super close between VC and SA but I'm gonna have to go with SA. Perfect gameplay with an amazing cast of characters. Combine that with a really good soundtrack and a decent story and you have yourself a winner.

VC though has a better protagonist, better story, and by far a better soundtrack. It's the expanded gameplay that put SA over the top though but that is no slight against VC.

Vice City. Period.

San Andreas was TOO big IMO and had a lot of annoyances like getting stuck out in the country and having to drive FOREVER to get back to the city or the crappy airplane controls or the RC missions, etc.

GTA 3 is a classic but VIce City had it all: story, characters, settings, fun missions, soundtrack, enough to do but not too much....

ps2 GTAs are ps2 GTAs . therefore, ps2 = ps2 BOAWRD .

Wow... Such fond memories of GTA3 .... excellent game back then.
But Vice City seemed to do all the good things of GTA3 just a little better.
