What would you rate the age bracket for Ni No Kuni

I am amazed at the quality of the presentation of the game however I tend to like KOA Reckoning. Dragon's Dogma type games would I as a 40 year old gamer who didn't really get into anime still enjoy the rpg elements of the game? the thing is I think if the game is received well they might try another game with a different theme more violent etc

Just when you think you have it all figured out you been tricked :)

It's hard to say, as those two games are barely comparable at all to NNK.

I'll be 29 in a few days and I love it. That's all I can really say.

Polite conversation should never include Politics, Religion or what constitutes an RPG.
Playing a game for it's story is like watching porn for it's story.

It's rated E for everyone so the age bracket is pretty large. Don't be one of those people who won't play something because they think the art style makes them less cool or something else that's equally as stupid. (Not saying you are like this, but some people are seriously acting this way.)

I'm 28 (29 very soon), the only Anime series I have watched is DBZ in Japanese, and I have only see 2 or 3 studio Ghibli films. With that said I am loving the game, it reminds me of older Disney films where you know the art style is to appeal to children but the story, and tones talked about in it are directed at adults. It's also refreshing to see something like this as Animated films are hard to come by it seems.

If you go from a pure RPG standpoint you will still love it, the battle system while simplistic is extremely fun and rewarding. You also have to pay attention or you will get wiped out. It's a solid game that has reinvigorated my love of JRPG's which was in dire need of a massive boost.

Watch some trailers, goto Gametrailers and watch their video review. They give you a good idea of what its about and what you can expect to see.

This is the exact type of person you shouldn't listen to. Be open minded. Dark Souls is one of my favorite games this gen, yet I will still love Ni No Kuni.

It's for everybody.
