Epic Mickey 2 is the cause, despite being available on nearly every platform sales were not enough to Junction Point studio open.

It really sucks how one flop can be the end of a game studio

They should have left it as a Wii exclusive. Taking Wii titles multiplatform rarely works, because the kinds of games that Wii owners like typically don't appeal to the HD crowd, and when a Wii game is multiplatform with PS3 and 360, Wii owners usually fear they're getting an inferior version and don't buy it. The result is a game that sells to no one.

De Blob met exactly the same fate a couple years ago.

Sad. While the Epic Mickey games weren't great, you could tell they did put a lot of heart into them....

Its because Warren Spector became an ass ignoring the fans pointing out huge glaring flaws in the first game. He ignored it and didn't fix them for the sequel which had even more glitches. Good ****ing riddance.

Epic Mickey wasnt a flop, it was a third party Wii game that sold more than 2 million copies. Not many third party games on Wii ever saw that success
