I'm just hating, So now you are the only one can hate?

The difference is I gave reasons for hating these games, what are your reasons for hating Ni No Kuni?

If you provide me with legitimate reasons, I'll have no reason to assume you're trolling.

Aren't your reasons solely that you don't approve of the aesthetic and setting of the games?

Honestly, I think the real difference in RPGs for me is that I just don't have the time I use to. Since Ni No Kuni's release I've only been able to put about twenty hours into it and its hard to get into a rpg when you can only play about an hour a day or not at all.

Pretty much. Disgaea 3 is one of the few RPGs I got into this gen. This chick is crazy.

No, the stories of these games are low-scale and the characters aren't memorable either.

This current gen I have played some very good RPGS (Eternal Sonata, Tales of Graces f, FFXIII, Resonance of Fate, Valkyria Chronicles, etc.) and some not so great ones (Enchanted Arms and Mimana Iyar Chronicle)

The things I find some newer RPGs are missing are a great story from start to finish, an engaging battle system that is both fresh and unique, and a world you can really immerse yourself into. I want a game like FFIX. But we won't have that. Resonance of Fate was awesome but it missed out on a great, engaging plot. The battle system was very fluid and unique. FFXIII had a good plot and battle system but it lacked on freedom and exploration (which actually makes sense because of the plot). Now I have not played Ni No Kuni yet because I have other games to finish, but from what I read and see it has all these things current RPGs seem to be lacking.

Oh yeah and i forgot to say, When i first heard of Hyperdimension Neptunia i thought it was Pedophile and perverts crap, Until i played it

same here, bought Mk2 soon after and played them both. Great series, it's too bad people are prone to judging a book by it's cover.

I can say the same for a whole mess of traditional ones too.

As a side note, most NIS games lampoon JRPG stories. You don't watch the Scary Movie(and it's spinoff movies) for the story.
