GameFly is a good service, but only if you have a reliable income.

If you don't have the cash I'd go for PS+ as people already said.

You mention a friend in the OP, maybe he could lend you some of the games on your list.

If you're working a lot, just buy a game at a time, you won't get a chance to play it anyway
