So, I am to assume it beat the Uncharted series. . . Sony flagship franchise. . . or God of War. . . I really don't buy it.

Vgchartz sucks, although it does seem likely. And of course MW3 has sold more than BO2, it's been out longer (the dwindling sales as games get older do add up) and it seems like people are actually starting to get bored of new COD games, at least among the people I know, friends on facebook, etc, there have been far less people playing/talking about BO2 than MW3 when it came out

So the top 3 selling games on PS3 are all CoD titles? I wonder what all the PS3 fanboys who accuse the x360 of being all about FPS's are going to say now.

Sony franchises don't really sell well, so this is not surprising. It seems consoles are no longer about games, but about media devices and having the best online service.
