ps4 revealed in 3 weeks, what happen to the 10 year plan?

ps3 is barely 6 years old, how is sony going to give us another 4 years worth of games between now and the holidays?

Just like they did with the PS2. When a new console comes out the old one isn't immediately cut off from support. It will be supported for awhile.

Where? how? When? Why would this do this when they stated they'd let M$ go first.

I mean they should already know that they don't need to rush a new console out just yet with alot of great titles coming out soon. Sounds like bad news source if sony is first to break over M$.

just like Sony's past systems. The Ps1 was still being made and supported well into the PS2's lifespan and the PS2 was still being made and supported well into the PS3's life span.

You realize the PS2 did get produced till the end of 2012 right?.
It got even a game last year.

There you have your 10 year plan - It will get some games(early Multiplats and Fifa) and will be manufactured.
Did you really think they will stay 10 years with the same console?A console that was outdated in terms of hardware 4 years ago?
We can be happy there are people like Naughty Dog and co who can push such garbage but even they are now on their limit with THe Last of Us,God of War and so on.
Its time to move on

Ten year plan means supporting the system, not ten years without a new console.

I'm willing to bet it'll be 2018 at the earliest before talk of shutting down the PS3 PSN servers begins, It all depends on demand and sales, if the PS3 still has a lot of users, they'll keep supporting the console.
