Any reason why all ps3 games cant play music like 360?

I know some PS3 games allow this, but has there ever been any logical reason stated at some point in time about why all PS3 games does not allow your own uploaded music to be played ingame like the 360's games?

MS owns the patent for that ability.

I'm not joking.

I didn't even know 360 games could do that but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like it. Most games have soundtracks that change based on the action, I think a game blasting Velvet Revolver during some tear jerking scene would just be horrible.

Probably the same reason they don't have cross game chat: not enough RAM (not that patent BS which turned out to be completely false for cross game chat and is surely completely false for music. even if MS did have a patent, that doesn't ban the feature from appearing).
