I haven't played half of them so hard to say. Out of the ones I've played probably the PS1 games and Shattered Dimensions. When people say Spiderman 2 I understand that it probably had the best swinging ever, but that shouldn't make up for the shortcomings of the rest of the game. It had horrible missions whether they be story missions or side missions. Though it wasn't freeroam, even Spiderman the Movie played better than Spiderman 2.

I confess I liked Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Maybe because it was my first experience with a sandbox game so the ability to freely web swing through an entire city and scale every building blew me away but I don't understand all the hate it gets.
This. I know most people tend to say Spider-Man 2 because it was all open world and whatnot but PS1 Spider-Man was way more entertaining to me. I still wanted to play it even after beating it completely. Not so with Spider-Man 2, there's literally nothing to do after beating the story.
I boosted some of my trophies. Please, judge me about it.
