What would be the Perfect Bond game in your eyes?

I like some of the movies, but shooting games are really boring to me, so I don't know how you'd make a good Bond game without them. Maybe a Bond RPG kind of like Mass Effect, where the combat isn't really the main attraction, but the characters and the choices you make as you interact are the main focus?

Well there are a few films without much shooting in them, so maybe draw some inspiration from them. I don't think it's the shooting that's the problem though, it just has to be a little more than the guns blazing approach.
Something like FarCry's out post scanning the area and then reacting would work, as would the Deus Ex approach.

Anyway, sounds like I should pick up a few of these Bond titles, and possibly Alpha Protocol. As long as an RPG is deep then I can excuse it's flaws anyway.

I'd enjoy an Alpha Protocol-inspired Bond game.

I second that.

Honestly, Agent under Fire. It was a nice game that tried to make Bond a hybrid of his many actors and actually succeeded. Levels could be done in complete stealth, action, and had a multitude of 'quiet' moments. The story was a bit of a downer though, never liked that part, but it was okay.
A ton of unlockables also. Good game. Love it : )

Bond is my idol, Snake is 2nd then the comic boys follow up.

A perfect Bond game would have to take elements from Mass Effect when it comes to dialogue. An open world would be most ideal but we need to keep in mind that Bond travels all over the world, atleast 3 to 4 huge cities are to be created, once you enter the first city, complete 8 to 10 long missions and on to the next, there's no going back, just for realism purposes. 10 hours per city.

It must be a decision driven game *this way it has replay value*, making choices on who to spy on, buy who a drink, what girl to sleep with, make alliances with, the occasional mini poker game, sneaking into places, interact, interrogate, etc. A few one time and long lasting vehicle scenes and less gadgets, the gadgets should be left for sequels.

Absolutely no multiplayer.

Also I don't want to see Bond killing hundreds of people, this isn't Nathan Drake or Max Payne.

edit: TPS game. not your everyday FPS.

I think Goldeneye for the N64 is the perfect Bond game. Although, I'm not that big of a fan of Bond films in general. The latest Bond actor is just awful though.

In SA2, it's Super Sonic and Hyper Shadow.

Alpha protocol inspired missions dialogue choices with like mass effect gameplay. Although I do like the more action routes like blood stone.

If they do a alpha protocol like they really do need to have some parts pure action, as james bond is a one man army pretty much.

If the only film he did was Quantum, I would agree that he's terrible....but he kicked ASS in Casino and Skyfall.
