For funny, for all the love that Ni No Kuni gets and all the hate DmC gets...

They both got almost exactly the same Metacritic score, with 86% and 85% respectively.

The only difference is the User Votes, where DmC got three times as many and an average score of only 3.9.

I've not played either, I'm just commenting. But it does go to show you just how fickle the hardcore fans are of the series are.

Ni No Kuni isn't the 5th game in a series (reboot or not, it's still the fifth 'Devil May Cry' game) so there are no long-term fans to b**** about changes.

I don't even want to call them fans. The people who do nothing but cry and complain about DmC are mostly trolls and sheep. Something changes, they look to see if someone else is raging, and they follow suit.

Crazy that a 2 year old DS game can score that high. Paid reviews FTL
