SCCAN85Posted 2/7/2013 11:55:22 PM | I still thought DS 1 had the best of everything, DS2 is great and definitely a better game, but imo it wasn't as creepy or scary of a game compared to DS1 but the story was great. 3, haven't played enough to comment but so far I already don't see myself as into it as the first 2 but it seems solid.
Extraction is also great but a completely different game, a very well done rail shooter, but can't be held to the same regard as the main 3

The sequels were changed for the sole purpose of appealing more to the masses. Like they had a meeting, decided what the popular trends were at the moment, and tried to cram them all into the original concept.

Sequels are never scary. People are just too used to everything by then for sequel to affect anyone.
