Just curious. If it's not, I might get Tactics too since I already have WotL.

WotL is the psp remake with added content not included in the original. Tactics is the original ps1 version.

Well, you can play the original on your PS3...that's about the only reason to get it.

The only negative I've heard about WoTL is that it gets slowdown.

They are different.

WotL:
PSP game. Playable on PSP and Vita only.
Additional content such as jobs, multiplayer missions, single player quests.
Translation mimicking archaic English.
Name translations are more accurate but may have stylized spelling.
Certain bug fixes.

FFT:
PSOne Classic game. PSP, Vita, or PS3.
Faster animation and load times.
Rough first approximation type translation.
Name translation have a lot of spellings that obfuscate references.
Lower JP requirements for skills.

It happens when performing skills, yea, including using items. You'll get used to it.

Well I don't think it'll bother me when I get around to it (which I should), as up until recently we PAL gamers never had the chance to play FFT. I'll take what I can get and be thankful.

The game was made with 333mhz in mind and running off a memory card in mind. Playing on a hack PSP makes the game run perfectly.
