Because I like to use a controller and sit on my couch... Plus I don't need to upgrade my console every year spending thousands of dollars...

1. Get a controller.
2. Hook it into the USB port on your PC, or other port.
3. Get an HDMI cable hooking up to your HDTV (which by the way, is just a giant monitor) from your PC.
4. Get to play games in 1440p, or even 1600p, whilst sitting on the couch.
5. You don't have to spend thousands of dollars, you barely even need to break 200. Also, what you usually buy lasts longer than a console, or in other words, can maintain better performance longer.

Worst post I've seen yet.

It was quite well documented in the other topic why that wasn't a reliable solution.

For example, those that have their PC in another room, which is extremely common.

Then they shouldn't have a couch in there either. Couches are for living rooms.

I don't understand your point? Consoles go in the living room as well.

He's saying he likes Consoles because he likes to game on the couch

By the way, I think this illustrates to me why I think console gaming is the better experience

I'm not poor so I have a gaming PC and all current gen consoles. That's what a real gamer does. No reason to switch.

I'm saying he can still game on the couch, with even better picture. It's not like that isn't a bonus.

So? You can have that exact experience on your PC.

Don't let the picture deceive you, that's a 46" HDTV. I also have a 55" sitting to the left of the picture that I use occasionally.

Did you even read what I posted? All this is possible with a simple USB controller and an HDMI cable, and you get incredibly better results.

I was being sarcastic... My PC is hooked to my TV and I have a wireless receiver for my 360 controller... I sit in my recliner though not on my couch... I figured that would get responses... People always use those examples why not to game on a PC... I do prefer my consoles over my PC for my gaming...
