guys, stat and loot based games are rpg's. Diablo 2 is 99% a loot game and its 100% an rpg. In fact, some people consider it the greatest rpg of all-time.

How many JRPGs have you played, dude? There are plenty of them with multiple choices and endings, it's just their outcomes aren't always determined by a choice in a menu.
