Based on the popularity of the brand Metal Gear.

If the game is good I can see it happening.

What do you think?

Possibly. I mean DmC and Bayonetta didn't sell too much for obvious reasons. MGR may not sell much BEACUSE of the brand. Most people don't want a hack n' slash Metal Gear.

Possibly. I think that a hack n' slash game would sell more to the casual gamer than tactical stealth action, but the main factor would be the story. That is to say how closely does the story relate to the other games? Does the casual gamer need to play all the other games before playing this? And of course, how complicated is the story in general? I don't think it would be as confusing as MGS4 was to the casual fan. But it should sell well I think
