I do not think amount of games qualifies you as hardcore but the amount of time you play for and the amount of time you spend on improving your skills and the passion you hold for gaming makes you a hardcore gamer.
IMHO thats the only thing that makes you a hardcore gamer. A passion and love of all video games, past and present. knowledge about the history of gaming culture. Softcore gamers usually only play a select few games from any given franchise or genera but will have a decent libary even if they are all just JRPG's, sports, FPS, etc, and the casuals don't care about anything other then what they are playing at the time which could range from farmville to CoD, they tend to have a lack of gaming knowledge and lack the passion for the history and culture of gaming.

I have well over 300 but I've yet to even launch a bunch of them while others haven't even gotten over 15 minutes of play time.
Games this gen just aren't fun enough to seriously play.
And yet you have 300 of them.
Why don't we just throw logic out the window while we're at it.
A LOT were impulse purchases and I'll admit, I was making tons of money off of people in PS Home (involving adding worthless crap to people's accounts) so I had a lot of cash to blow and blindly test trash games i.e. Fret Nice, Greed Corp, Record of Agarest War, etc.
Logic has nothing to do with it when you have that kind of money to blow.
