The patience it takes to play FFXI and EQ is the patience it takes to kill yourself by bashing your head into a wall.

It's pretty much true though. A lot of people like to pick up used games or rent games. If your cutting out that option people are less likely to risk 60 bucks on a game that simply sucks.

I wonder what a company contingent on used game sales would say.

Anyway, it won't matter if people are less likely to buy a system that bans used games if Sony does it too. Unless they choose Wii U

The company makes roughly half of its profits by reselling used games for much more than it pays for them

OK Gamestop, please let us know where you stand...

Not all demos are indictive of the final product and are usually much earlier builds before systems, skills, and ideas are finalized.

I rolled my eyes when I saw the topic title. Gamestop has every right to release a statement like that, but come on. Gamestop would say anything to try and stop used games from being banned.

*walks into a restaurant*

*orders a steak and eats every bit of it*

Bah! This steak is overcooked!

*stiffs restaurant and rightfully so because, after all, the product "sucks!"*
