Best games to play with headphones

I'm not talking about games like Call of Duty or Battlefield where you use headset to talk to your teammate, but I'm talking about games where the sound is so excellent, they should be played with a nice pair of stereo headphones. I just played Mass Effect 3 and it was awesome, it sounded like i was next to Shepard, in the fight with him, and i find that Far Cry 3 is a blast to play with headphones due to the ambient sounds of the jungle environment. What are some of your favorite games to play while wearing headphones, and for what reasons

When you talk like that I know something is up, and when you smell like that it means somebody must die.

I'm sure it doesn't help that i wait for thunder storms and shut the lights off when i play games like Dead Space or Silent Hill, playing in those conditions with headphones on, it's gotta be nuckin' futs.

Sandbox games are great because there's usually so much effort put into the ambient sounds of the city that you don't notice otherwise. Although I think nearly all games have more effort put into the sound than you realise. I was surprised when I started playing EDF with headphones and noticed sound details that I never had before.
