Play the first two or read all the information about the games you could ever want on the internet. I don't get why you are interested in Infinite if you weren't into the first two since they all have similar artistic styles. Explain to me why this one is intriguing to you before we can really give you insight.

To answer your questions simply:

The first Bioshock had quite a bit of exciting story moments with certain twists. Bioshock 2 not as much. The combat can be fast and furious at times, but it is more about strategy in most situations.

The story is incredible for an FPS in Bioshock; it takes a mainstay mechanic of the genre and turns it into a story point that kind of blew my mind. "Would you kindly?"

Bioshock 2 was a much better shooter though the story was something of a step down. It was still a good game, but it focused more on the gameplay aspect than the storytelling aspect. And that's understandable.

Quite frankly, you might just wanna get over the art design and try Bioshock anyway. It doesn't hold up fantastically these days, but it's still a good game worth playing.

Uh, so what part of the art style in 3 appeals to you over the first two? They look the same minus that the first ones are under water and the third is in the sky. If that was really reason enough for you to not like the first one, you really shouldn't bother with the third one, you won't like it either.
