The Games are spaced 3 months apart. Why not get both? By the time TLoU comes out, you would have already had a great deal with Rising. If they were both coming out within a couple weeks of each other, I would say Rising, but this isn't the case. See how your money works out, and get both

From gameplay videos, they look awfully similar. Sure, they probably will have a different emphasis on over-all gameplay but the controls and all look very much like they will be the same.

Last of Us gameplay gives me a UC1 feel when watching it and I don't label it survival horrorr, looks like action adventure to me.

Metal Gear Rising. I'm all about pure gameplay with variety instead of cinematic setpiece games that play themselves half the time.

The Last of Us is basically the Uncharted series with zombies thrown in.

Metal Gear Rising is basically Devil May Cry with a Metal Gear skin.

Its all a matter of what sounds the most appealing.

MGR is more like Ninja Gaiden than Devil May Cry.
