Can SONY ban you for playing a game online early..?

And by early, I mean- Breaking street date. Just curious. I did some research and there are just as many reports of it happening and people saying there is no issue with it at all.

Can they, yes. Will they, not generally.

However the company that makes the game could ban you if they choose as well.

It's possible but as long as the copy is a "legally obtained copy" you're fine.

If you bought a legal copy of the game then you aren't going to be banned TC.

Playing a games multiplayer 2 weeks before it has even shipped to stores, whoops!

This has happened with different games with the street date being broke or your order arriving a day or two early from UPS.

I agree if you got it weeks early then it probably isn't a legal copy so,you should wait to go online with it.The MP servers generally won't be up for the game 2 weeks before the release anyway.
