I didn't know Dragon's Dogma had a sequel?

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen??

Why have I not heard of this? Is this supposed to be a direct sequel, or some kind of DLC?..

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.

Its technically ''Super Dragon Dogma''.

Think of it as the Super Street Fighter 4 version of the game. The full game is included but it is not available separate. To Play Dark Arisen's added content you have to buy the new version. Returning players do get a few bonus in game items though, most of which is worthless to us. (100k rift crystals? Got 3 million wasting space... Unlimited Ferry Stones? Got 50 in my storage, some armor sets are also included.

It's a great deal for people who have never played the game. As for the loyal fans who already went out and bought Dragon's Dogma, they can't just download the expansion from PSN. They have to pull out $40 to re-buy the original + expansion. Way to bite the hand that feeds, Capcom.

Yeah I've never played it, so was thinking of getting it. Sucks for those who got the original though.
